Imitation Game or the game of imitation in Quebec (The Imitation Game) is an American biographical film directed by Morten Tyldum, released in 2014. The film is inspired by the life of the British mathematician and cryptanalyst Alan Turing, especially during the Second World War, when he worked in Bletchley Park. The title of the film is a reference to the introduction of the article written by Alan Turing in 1950 to present its research on artificial intelligence and especially what has become the Turing Test. This one is briefly mentioned in the film, but is not the main subject of the film, which mainly deals with his work on Enigma and his homosexuality.
