If you are running a server for Project Zomboid, you will eventually need to use the admin commands. Admin commands allow you to ban, whitelist, item spawn and even teleport players. However, there are many commands that administrators can use on servers. Here are all the commands that administrators can use on the Project Zomboid server.

All Project Zomboid general admin commands
The following are all common commands that administrators can use on Project Zomboid servers. To use common commands, open a chat and type / followed by the command you want to use.
- Team Name: god mode
- How to use: To use the godmode command, you must type /godmode followed by your username. The end result should look like this: /godmode username.
- Command name: addxp
- How to use: To use the addxp command, you must enter /addxp followed by the username and skill name, and the amount of XP. The end result should look like the following command line: /addxp username skillname=amount of experience.

- How to use: To use the invisible command, players must enter /invisible username.

- How to use: To use the noclip command, players must enter /noclip username.

- How to use: Players can use the teleportto command to teleport to a specific location on the map. To use the command type /teleport followed by x-coordinates, y-coordinates and z-coordinates.

- How to use: There are two options for the teleport command. One use is /teleport to user which teleports the administrator to the user. Another use is /teleport user to user which teleports one player to another.
* Command name: add element * How to use: To use the additem command, type /additem followed by the username, item code, and quantity. The end result should look like the following command line: /additem username number of items. * Team name: additional vehicle * How to use: In order to use the add vehicle command in Project Zomboid, you need to set it up similar to the additem command. In short, type /addvehicle followed by vehicle type followed by username/coordinates. The end result will look like this: /addvehicle username/vehicle coordinates.

- How to use: Type /help in chat to get a list of command options to use the help command.
- Team name: vacate the hideout
- How to use : Type /releaseshelter to release any hideout you currently have in order to use this command.
- Team name: play
- How to use: Type /replay followed by the name of the player and-record,-play,-stop followed by the name of the file to record the moving player on your Project Zomboid server. The end result should look like this: /replay username-record the user's random adventure. Entering-record will start recording the moving player,-play will play the recording of the moving player, and-stop will stop the playback and recording of the recording.

These commands are the commands you will want to use when you need to ban, mute, or give certain users administrative rights.
- Command name : set access level
- How to use: To use the setacesslevel command, you must type /setacesslevel followed by the username and access level. For example, if you want to make a user an administrator, you would enter the following: /setaccesslevel coolusername admin.
- Team name: add user to whitelist
- How to use: To use this command, enter /addustertowhitelist, this will add the user with the already created account to the whitelist of the server. If you want to add a user without an account, you must enter /Add User followed by username and password. If you want to remove a user from the whitelist, enter /remove user from the whitelist followed by the username.
- Command name: All inhibit commands
- How to use: If you want to block users from accessing your server, you must either block them by IP address or SteamID. To ban a user using a SteamID, you must enter / bandit followed by the user's SteamID64. To ban a user using their IP, you must enter /banuser username-ip-r followed by the reason for the ban.
- How to unban users: To unban a user after you have banned them, you must enter /unbanid SteamID64 or /unbanuser username.

- How to use: To use the voiceban command, players must type /voiceban followed by their username.

- How to use: To use the kickuser command, you must type /kickuser username-r followed by a reason for the exception.

- How to use: To grant yourself or another user admin rights, you must type /grantadmin followed by the username. To remove an administrator from a user, you must enter /removeadmin username.

These commands will allow you to trigger helicopter events, stop certain weather, and various server-affecting commands in Project Zomboid.
- Team name: alarm
- How to use: Type /alarm to turn on house alarm at player's position to use this command.
- Team name: shot
- How to use: Use this command by typing /shot in chat. This will trigger a shot meta event near the players.
- Team name: create a horde
- How to use: Type /createhorde number username to summon a horde of zombies on the specified player.
- Team name: leave
- How to use: Type /leave to shut down and save the server to use this command.
- Team name: start train and stop train
- How to use: Type /star train to cause a rainstorm on your Project Zomboid server. If you want to stop rain on your server, type /stoprain.
- Command name: change option
* **How to use:** Type **/changeoption** followed by the parameter name and value to use the change parameter command. The end result will look like this **: /changeoption option_name value**.

- How to use: To use the reloadlua command type /reloadlua file name. This will reload any lua script you want.

- How to use: To use the save command, type /save in chat. This will save the current server world.

- How to use: Type /sendpulse to send yourself server performance information.

- How to use: Type /showoptions to display all server options and their current values.

- How to use: Type /servermsg followed by a message to broadcast the message to your project's Zomboid server.

- How to use: To use the player command, type /players to get a list of all currently connected players on your server.
How to become an administrator on the Project Zomboid server
To become an administrator on a Project Zomboid server, you must first gain access from the server owner. Once you have been granted admin rights, you can issue commands to the server by typing them into the chat.
