Sony Pictures and Constantin Film have published a first trailer for coming movie Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.
The film series created by Paul W. Anderson to Resident Evil has found their end with The Final Chapter in 2016. But although the series secured the film studios billions of revenue, fans of the games were a bit disappointed. Instead of telling a similar story as in the games, the responsible persons only served the basic thermas and told an independent act.
With the reboot of the film series you want to approach the Resident Evil to the Resident Evil . The first trailer for the Kinovilm Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City gives a first taste of what will expect you. The story will pick up the origins of zombie apocalypse and pick up elements from the first three games, as their events overlap partially. For example, you can see in the trailer RPD chief Irons in the underground car park of the police station against zombie dogs fighting or as Chris Redfield enters the old manor house of Owell E. Spencer. Even Lisa Trevor, who first found its way in the series with the remake of 2002 is from the game.
