Just like the classic Resident Evil offshoot, the film reboot sets the focus on fearful horror. Heated action scenes as in the film series around Milla Jojovich are therefore not to be expected. The events of the first and second offshoots are linked together in this film.
That s why it s in the movie: The dark machinations of Umbrella Corporation have triggered a zombie apocalypse in the big city of Raccoon City. A group of survivors merge together to reveal the truth behind the virus departure. Together, they are on the way to a remote manor house, where they encounter the terrible experiments of the infamous Pharma Group.

The theatrical release is scheduled for November 24th. From this day, you may find out if Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City meets his claim as a true horror strip.
